Once open, we’ll be running a range classes and courses covering topics such as:

INTRO TO WOOD TURNING

2–3 hours · Learn the basics of wood turning on the lathe and create a simple turned object, such as a candlestick, while gaining confidence with tools and techniques.

BUILD A DINING TABLE

3 afternoons · Design and build your own dining table, including a guided visit to a local wood merchant to select the right timber for your project.

BOX MAKING

Learn essential joinery techniques by making a small wooden box, focusing on accuracy, fit, and clean finishing.

Bench making

Build a solid wooden bench while learning core construction methods and practical joinery skills that translate to larger furniture projects.

Intro to woodworking for beginners

A gentle introduction to woodworking fundamentals, covering safe tool use, basic techniques, and simple projects to build confidence in the workshop.

Chess board making

Make a classic wooden chessboard, exploring precision cutting, pattern layout, and fine finishing techniques.

Cheese/Chopping board making

Create a practical and beautifully finished board while learning about timber selection, shaping, sanding, and food-safe finishes.
